EL Heath is the pseudonym I have come to use since I split up with Shrewsbury based band Talk (formerly Telex), in order to keep myself busy and continue writing and performing music. Since I bought a bass at age 18 I have been composing music and writing lyrics, although I now find myself more interested in other instruments and am listening to, in the main, instrumental music. Since I have no experience playing piano I decided my first planned release would be an EP of 5 piano pieces, which is well under way. I am due to collaborate with The Exploits of Elaine, formerly based in Telford and now in Nottingham as well as collaborating with Emily Gresham at one of the Acoustic Moods in the future. I also occasionally work under the name “Empirian,” depending on the project.
